Jagannath University Introduced new application system, totally depend on mobile phone. Tale-talk is only operator for applying for 2012-13 session.

Applicant have to type:

In 1st SMS: JNU (Name of HSC passing board) (HSC or equivalent Roll) (HSC passing year ) (Name of SSC passing board) (SSC or equivalent Roll) (SSC passing year ) (Desire Unit)

Example: JNU DHA 123456 2012 DHA 123456 2010 A

there will be no other words or alphabets or symbol except SPACE before every key word. and send this SMS to 16222. In return SMS you will get a PIN number along with your name. You have to confirm the SMS by sending another SMS.

2nd SMS: JNU YES (PIN number, that you got by return SMS) (Your Mobile Phone Number)

Example: JNU YES 233651 01913531***

And Again send this SMS to 16222 Number and ensure that your mobile have enough balance more than 350.00 BDT because there will be chared 2.30 taka  per SMS. 

In return SMS, you will be given your roll number and other information. Now Your Task is done. And  you have to wait for Exam date and in that day you need to go will Higher Secondary Certificate registration card along with 2 copy attached photocopy, 2 copy color photo and write the roll number (JNU application Roll Number), Name, mobile number.

1st Step : You have to Go your desire unit's web site (A,B,C,D,E) or Click here to apply, Than click on Apply Button. you will see the application page like given bellow.

2nd Step: select you information in check box and put your HSC or Equivalence Roll Number. Than "Submit" button will be highlighted and press click on it.

3rd Steps: After Putting HSC or Equivalence Roll Number, you will be taken into next page and will see all academical information including your Secondary and higher secondary examination. if all information is correct put your Mobile phone number for further communication and that may needed for verification for admission after passing written exam. so, put running mobile phone number.

4th Step:  After Putting your Contact number "2 button will be seen" confirm and try again. if all the information and mobile number is correct than click on confirm and you will find next page like bellow.

 

5th step:  in this step, you will given a download link (beside arrow, shown in above picture), click on it. New window will open with PDF file, save it or print directly if you have printer at a time. Fill it Up and deposit the money in required bank.

6th Step: Pay slip is like bellow picture, put two similar passport size photo and deposit any branch of Rupali bank, Sonali Bank, Agrani bank, Janata bank.

Information of GCE Students and Quota Application for Dhaka University Admission test

General Rules for All Units

1. GCE Students: From 2007, O Level Students have to pass minimum in 5 subjects and Minimum 2 Subject have to be completed in A Level during 2011-2012. And Grade points for all 7 subjects - minimum C grade in 3 subject and minimum B grade in remaining 4 subjects. otherwise he/she will not be able to apply in Dhaka University Graduation programme. 

2. Quota Application:

Son, daughter or Spouse of Teacher, Employee or Employee ward, tribe, physically disorder person or son/daughter of freedom fighter can apply in quota. For this, applicant have apply with in 7 days of the Written exam result publications to dean office with proper evidence, and application form should be collected from dean office of own department (relevant unit).

Gha Unit (ঘ ইউনিট) / D Unit Admission information for Jahangir Nagor University 2012-13 session

Eligibility for application :

1. Student have to pass Higher Secondary Exam in 2011 or 2012 and Secondary Exam in 2009 or 2010

2. Total GPA of All Science, Business Studies, Vocational, diploma in Business Studies, Diploma in Commerce, and Diploma in Business Management should get 7.50 (with 4th Subject) and others students including humanities have to get 7.00 (with 4th subject)  in both secondary and higher secondary

3. Any GPA in SSC or HSC Bellow 3.00 will not be accept

4. GCE Student have to pass minimum 5 subject in O level, in that Student have to get "C" grade in minimum 3 subject. and in 2010 or 2011 Student have to pass A level in 2 subject with minimum "C" grade.

"CHA" Unit (চ ইউনিট) is for

1. Drawing and painting
2. Graphic design

4. Pracyakala (প্রাচ্যকলা )
5. Sculpture (ভাস্কর্য)

7. Ceramic industry (মৃৎশিল্প)

Eligibility for Applying GHA Unit (ঘ ইউনিট) or "D Unit" in Dhaka University 2012-13

Gha Unit (ঘ ইউনিট)or "D" Unit is called transfer unit. Students from Science, Humanities, Business Studies, GCE, Madrasa board can apply in this unit. but students have to get minimum 3.00 (B Grade) in all subject and requirement GPA (With Out 4th Subject) for candidates is given bellow.

• Science Students or Equivalent: Have to earn 8.00 point in total of SSC, HSC and similar to A Unit.

• Business Students or Equivalent: Have to earn 7.50 point in total of SSC and HSC or similar to C Unit

• Humanities Students or Equivalent: have to have 7.00 points in Total of SSC and HSC or similar to B Unit

Students can apply in this Unit if they can full-fill the requirements. students can transfer their department according to following information (this is subject to change)  This information will be found in notice board of Dhaka University after Passing the D unit's Exam according to Grade points and Exam marks.

• Science Students : Can choose any subject from any other Unit

• Business Students : Can go to B unit

• Humanities students : Can choose from C unit.

"GA" Unit 1st Year Hon's Points Requirement for Admission test in Dhaka University 2012-13

This is the most competitive Unit among all others Units. Student have to work hard to get chance. Students from Business Studies in HSC and GCE can apply in this unit., Students from Science or Humanities in HSC also can apply through "GHA" or "D" Unit after successfully passing the MCQ exam. 

Students from Diploma in Business studies, diploma in Commerce, Business management also can apply in this "GA" or "C" Unit but must have Accounting subject and the minimum grade point in accounting is 3.00.

"KHA" Unit (খ ইউনিট) basically for HUMANITIES Student. Student, Who passed HSC in HUMANITIES and G.C.E or Equivalent studies student with having minimum 2 (two) HUMANITIES' Subject can apply in KHA Unit. Other Students From "Gha" Unit (ঘ ইউনিট) can admit into Kha Unit's subject after passing the written exam of GHA (Transfer Unit) Unit.

"KA" Unit is For "science, Biology, Earth and Environmental science, Engineering and technology faculty and relevant institution" and the student who passed Higher Secondary certificate (HSC) in Science or Agricultural science, Can apply In KA Unit. Student, Who passed From G.S.E and Madrasa in Science also can apply here and All student must need to have 8 points (without 4th Subject) in total GPA of Secondary and Higher secondary Exam.

Online Application Procedures or System and Rules for Dhaka University Admission test 2012-13 session

1. Applicant have select their desire Unit. ( Ka, Kha, Ga, Gha, Cha).
Students having - GCE, English Medium, or any foreign Certificate,  need to meet directly desire Unit's Office. there he/she will be given a "Equivalent ID"

• Ka Unit (ক ইউনিট)/ A unit

• Kha Unit (খ ইউনিট) / B Unit

• Ga Unit (গ ইউনিট) / C Unit

• Gha Unit (ঘ ইউনিট) / D Unit

• Cha Unit (চ ইউনিট)

2. Than, Applicant have Click on "Apply" Button with in 25 August, 2012 to 15 September, 2012 . Than, New page will be shown, and; there applicant need to put his/her Roll Number, Passing Year and Board of School Secondary Certificate (S.S.C) of Equivalent. And than Applicant has to click on "SUBMIT"

Apply > give require information > Submit

3. After full-fulling "2 option", Applicant need to provide information about Higher secondary certificates (H.S.C) or equivalent. Finally, he/she has to click on "Confirm". Applicant have to be careful before confirming that all information are correctly given.

4. After confirming the application from, A download link of  "PAY SLIP" will be given, applicant have to download the pay slip and remember the links will be given for first time. so, please save and keep the pay slip in your PC.

5. In this stage, Applicant have to print the "PAY SLIP". there are Two parts,

• First part for, Applicant's Uses ; and ;
• Second part for Bank Uses Only

6. Now Applicant have to put same recent passport size photo on both part. And have to pay the required amount "350 Taka" with in 17 September, 2012 to any branches of  following banks and collect student Copy/Applicant copy with bank signed.

• Janata Bank(জনতা ব্যাংক)

• Agrani Bank (অগ্রণী ব্যাংক)

• Rupali Bank (রূপালী ব্যাংক)

 7. 2 (Two) Days after depositing the money, Applicant can collect his/her admit card by providing 12 Digit PIN Number from the PAY SLIP. This link will be available up to 22 September.

8. Rules of Collecting Admit Card:

  a. Applicant have to same upload same Photo, that was attached in PAY SLIP. and time limit is 22 September, 2012 (Remember the deadline). The Size of the photo should be 450X600 pixel. and file size should be with in 100 KB. b. After uploading, a preview will be shown and applicant have to confirm.

c. than a admit card will be created and a download link will be given. Applicant need to save and print the admit card by the help of that download link

9. Use the admit card for admission test.

General Information

That all students - Who successfully passed  in Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent examination in 2012 or 2011, Only can apply for admission test in Dhaka University Graduation Education. Passed before 2011 students are unable to apply for admission in this graduation programme.

However, The candidates must be passed in School Secondary certificate (SSC)equivalent examination 2007 or after.

Applicants need to collect pay slip (পে-স্লিপ) from 25 Augustest, 2012 to 15 September, 2012 by paying the initial application fee. 

From 26 Augustest, 2012 to 17 September, 2012 Students can deposit money to any branch of these following banks

• Sonali Bank (সোনালী ব্যাংক)

• Janata Bank(জনতা ব্যাংক)

• Agrani Bank (অগ্রণী ব্যাংক)

• Rupali Bank (রূপালী ব্যাংক)

Applicants must upload their photo within 22 September, 2012, Otherwise, the applicant's initial application will be incomplete, and automatically canceled and the bank credit money will be forfeited.
